What is Young, Active & Creative?

Youth from Põlva (EE) and Ogre (LV) will come together in this project to jointly learn cultural management skills for visual and performing arts events. Meanwhile the young Estonians and Latvians will actively network and engage in real organizing of two youth festivals.
There are two teams - one for making a festival in Polva, and the other team is going to make the festival in Ogre. The trainings will bring two nations together to improve the communication and co-operation between two countries. 

Since there have already been two festivals in Polva, the people from Estonian group have more experience to share. Latvian group is going to make an entirely new festival with new concept, hoping to make it happen with some help from Estonians.

To learn all the things we have to know about organizing a festival, we will have four meetings with some professional trainers. The first training took place in Ogre March 24 - 25. The main theme was ''team building'' and there were 15 Latvians and 15 Estonians in the organizing group and 15 people in the music-group.

The second meeting takes place in Polva.
