Trainings are over!

In both countries - Estonia and Latvia - we are still continuing to do the preparation work for the festivals.
We are making posters, researching musicians, upgrading our internet pages and we also had the last trainings in Polva that took place in 9th to 10th august.

There were musicians there, who composed few original songs together in two days and performed them after. There were also a bunch of people from artists group who made some new innovations and also there were the organizers who again had some lectures to help with the organizing of the festivals.

The most interesting task for the organizers were to make a press conference where a half of the team were journalists and the other half - the organizers of the staged event. There were two events played - one about Lady Gaga concert that was cancelled because of a nature lover meeting and the other about Sting's wish list in order to have his concert in Latvia. This task helped to reach an understanding about making press conferences for the festivals.

The Latvian team had a late meeting where they discussed the latest questions but after that some of them joined Estonians at the local party.

In the next morning there was a lecture about the varieties of lightening shows that we could have in our fests.

Even though many of us were sad about this being the last of the trainings, most of us will meet at least at two festivals this summer. One will take place at Polva (10. - 12.08) and the other at Ogre (31.08.-01.09) It is great that there will be Latvian musicians in Estonia and vice versa. It will ensure that the time spent together will come out great!
